Who can refer?
Anyone with a DoorKeeping sign-in: landlords, tenants, local helpers, vendors, accountants and bookkeepers.
What does the landlord get?
Their first 2 billed months free. Billing starts at their first matched rent, so the free months start then.
How much do I earn?
30% of what DoorKeeping earns from each landlord you referred, every month, for as long as they pay. There is no cap.
Do I earn on units they add later?
Yes. You earn 30% of everything they pay, for life, including every unit and property they add later. At $2 a unit, 10 units earn you $6 a month and 50 units earn you $30 a month.
When do I get paid?
What you earn is counted each month and shown on your earnings screen. You are paid once your W-9 is on file.
Do I need a W-9?
Yes, everyone does, tenants and helpers too. Nobody is paid until their W-9 is on file.
Can I earn on my own portfolio?
No. You earn nothing on a portfolio you belong to, in any role, including payments made while you were a member.
What if the landlord gets a refund?
A refund takes back the 30% it earned, so you earn only on money DoorKeeping keeps.
How long does a referral count?
The landlord signs up with your link, and the referral is claimed within 30 days of their portfolio being created.
